| Morpheus Technologies has emerged due to the overwhelming response
to the pin-closed containers that I built for my wife and myself.
We took our containers to Norway a few years ago and have been on
numerous BASE expeditions since. We both noticed a growing interest
in our equipment and subsequently, an increased demand to build
rigs. We then decided to offer our containers to the public and
have been involved in research and development through extensive
field-testing. The great thing about that is you get to make BASE
jumps! It's part of the job.
My name is Robert Jones and I have been BASE jumping since 1992.
I am a Master Rigger and I have worked in the skydiving industry
for a major container manufacturer for years. I've been building
BASE containers for friends and myself since 1994. I have always
been dedicated to the betterment of BASE specific equipment and
it's development. I am from the UK and in the early days, skydiving
gear with a big pilot chute was considered the norm for fixed
object jumping.
This sport is not for everyone. It is dangerous! A person can
be seriously injured or even killed, but if you do decide to go
over the edge, you want to have the strongest sense of confidence
in your equipment. We, at Morpheus Technologies are committed
